9-2-21 THOUGHTS

I see below that God wants us to gain the Glory of our Lord Jesus Christ!
John 2:11   This beginning of [His] signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory, and His disciples believed in Him.
John 1:14   And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 12:41   These things Isaiah said because he saw His glory, and he spoke of Him.
John 14:9   Jesus said to him, "Have I been so long with you, and [yet] you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how [can] you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
John 17:24     "Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

2Thes 2:13-17     But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth. 14
It was for this He called you through our gospel, that you may gain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15  So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught, whether by word of mouth or by letter from us. 16  Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace, 17  comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good work and word.
2Thes 3:1-5    Finally, brethren, pray for us that the word of the Lord will spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it did also with you;  2  and that we will be rescued from perverse and evil men; for not all have faith. 3  But the Lord is faithful, and  He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.  4  We have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you are doing and will continue to do what we command. 5  May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the steadfastness of Christ.

Isa 40:5-8      Then the glory of the LORD will be revealed, And all flesh will see it together; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken." 6  A voice says, "Call out." Then he answered, "What shall I call out?" All flesh is grass, and all its loveliness is like the flower of the field. 7  The grass withers, the flower fades, When the breath of the LORD blows upon it; Surely the people are grass. 8  The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.

My Prayer:
We know O Father that your might and power and glory are beyond our capacity to comprehend. Help us to gain the glory of our Lord!  May our growth increase that we may witness your glory in greater ways, that we may draw closer and partake of your divine nature and presence..                   In Jesus name            Amen
